Store History & Background:
Opened on 31st July 1926 and extended on 8th November 1935 on the corner a few doors along from today's store. Woolworths relocated to today's premises on 5th June 1964. The store was modernised in 1974 (re-opening on 14th June) and was refurbished to the comparison store standard in 1986. It was extended into the new shopping precinct and updated to the latest 10/10 specification after demerger.
