A portrait view of the newly rebuilt F.W. Woolworth superstore (Store 5) in Briggate, Leeds - one of the largest stores ever opened which was brough on to mark the company's Golden Jubilee in 1959. Woolworths traded from Briggate from 1911 until 1984 when the premises were sold in the first wave of Kingfisher disposals. Today the same premises (virtually unaltered) are home to the Leeds branch of House of Fraser
